I love the idea of a Pocket PC phone, but have yet to find one with the implementation that I would feel comfortable with using on a daily basis. The Audiovox PPC-6700 is no exception and although it receives high ratings from MobileTechReview I just don’t see myself using it.

It’s a full-featured phone running Windows Mobile 5.0 with a 416Mhz processor, 128megs of Flash ROM, a mini-SD card slot, 1.3 megapixel camera and supports both 1xRTT and EVDO. Great, sounds like the defaults of every other phone out there now.
What it all comes down to with me is style. The phone is just too ugly for me to use. Shallow? Probably, but there is no reason in today’s world that you shouldn’t release sexy products that are still functional. That’s what I expect and I know I am not the only one.

CNet reports that Sprint will offer Yahoo’s new multiplayer PC-to-mobile and mobile-to-mobile games on select Sprint mobile phones, the companies said on Monday. Subscribers using Sprint PCS Vision phones will be able to play Yahoo Poker with opponents competing via PCs or on mobile handsets.
The new cross-platform gaming application, which requires a regular Internet connection, will be available starting in mid-June to players registered with Sprint’s Game Lobby, the firms said.
