Mark/Space announced this week it would soon release a version of its Mac-to-handheld synchronization software, called Mac OS X: The Missing Sync for BlackBerry, for Research In Motion’s (RIM) wireless handhelds. The Missing Sync, which often delivers a level of compatibility between handhelds and Macs not delivered by the platform or device vendors themselves, has long served as the missing link between Apple desktops and laptops and Palm OS devices.
Last year, the company added Windows Mobile Pocket PCs and Smartphones to the list of supported PDAs and handsets. A version also exists for the Sony PSP and an edition for Danger’s hiptop smartphones has been discontinued.

Even though your cell phone might play music, chances are you’re probably carrying a cell phone and an MP3 player. Jabra seems to think there’s no reason to carry two pairs of headsets also. If your MP3 player has Bluetooth in it you can use the BT 8010 Bluetooth stereo headsets to listen to tunes on your MP3 player or take/make calls on your cell phone.
Here’s the catch: Many MP3 players don’t yet have Bluetooth. So you’ll need to get an accessory that can give your MP3 player this feature, or have an MP3 Bluetooth capable cellphone.
